Manila Ocean Park
Manila Ocean Park is the Philippines’ first state-of-the-art Oceanarium, open water marine habitat, boutique mall, restaurant row and function facilities all located in one complex at the back of the Quirino Grandstand.I've been to a few oceanariums in the past such as Monterey Bay Aquarium, in California, Sydney Aquarium in Australia, Ocean Park in Hong Kong, and Underwater World in Singapore. In each of those visits, I don't have a single decent photo, let alone that I can find most of them.
So this is the first time that I made a trip to the local oceanarium to photograph the marine animals, and it's not easy. As always, flash photography is prohibited for obvious reasons. The glass is a big challenge, as some of them does not give a linear view.
The settings used are a compromise at f/5.6, ISO 1600, and 1/40.
